It was an hour and a half long talk about how entrepreneurs must embrace technology to solve problems at scale. Mr. Seeraman is the Vice president at Publicis Beehive and is responsible for the digital marketing & social media business. He is also the chapter manager for the Google Business Group(GBG),Mumbai. Google Business Group is a start-up and entrepreneur community which works towards promoting entrepreneurship.

About the Lecture: Mr Vishwadeep Khatri, CEO, Benchmark Six Sigma, was invited to IIM Indore Mumbai, on 28th January, to share his expertise to handle different improvement projects using six sigma concepts. He introduced the DMAIC framework and explained various examples using the DMAIC framework to solve the problems. Mr. Khatri also answered the doubts of the candidates regarding their career choices and role of Six Sigma in it. The session ended after a quiz in which everyone participated.

Mr. Vikas details the students about investment research and the sell side part of it.

Mr. Kavindra Mishra spoke about the current scenario of retail and also about the tremendous scope of retail in the future.
Regarding e-commerce, he said that at Pepe Jeans India, they believe that e-platform has its own strengths like accessibility and quick reviews about the product and latest trends.
He also felt that brands can use the online platform in tandem with other channels and thus follow Omni-channel strategy.

Topic: The Art of Influencing people: The storytelling Route
About the lecture:
Mr. Kohli spoke about using story-telling as a tool to influence people and its recent inclusion in organizations which are keen in having a separate team to promote the art.
He emphasized on how the art of story-telling is so relevant in any industry.
Steve Jobs and his mastery in communicating the launch of any Apple product was through a story, to which any customer could easily relate. Similarly the recent stream of advertisements from Google also aims to connect customers through stories.
The students were involved in a lot of activities including the launch of a product by enacting a play. The onus on such activities was to gauge the participants to come up with innovative ideas through story telling.

About the lecture:
Mr Sanghavi addressed the participants regarding the opportunities as well as challenges prevalent in the entertainment industry.
Apart from providing the industry overview, Mr Sanghavi explained in detail about Below The Line (BTL), Above The Line (ATL) and Through The Line (TTL) marketing concepts and the importance of each in integrated marketing communication.
Mr Sanghavi also cited examples of product placements in movies and TV shows by giving live examples of his own experiences with Filmfare, FIFA, IPL and various other major event.
