1. Assistant Editor – cum – Executive Assistant (01 No.)
 
Job Profile
• Analytical skills with a high degree of comfort and to be able to express ideas clearly and logically
• Candidate should have a flair for writing and be creative, with a broad range of knowledge
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure is essential
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong research orientation with previous demonstrated track records like having worked in journal / publication / media, etc.
• Proficiency in the use of computer software
• The responsibilities of Assistant Editor include editing and proof reading editorial content like interviews, research / working papers, cases, essays, book reviews, white papers, indexing & abstracting services, etc, for errors in spelling, punctuation and grammar, adhering to style guidelines, organising publication meetings and its coordination, compilation of Annual Report, research and publication, etc.
• Monthly all-inclusive remuneration ranging between Rs.12,000/- and Rs.16,000/- pm depending on the candidates qualification and experience.
 
Qualification
• Candidates should have a Masters Degree or PG Diploma in journalism/ communication/mass media/linguistics or English Literature, Candidates with a minimum of one year experience would be preferred.
 
 
 
2. Librarian (01 No.)
 
Job Profile
• Should have a good knowledge of computer application in the Administration and Management of Library.
• Should be able to independently manage the digital and fully computerized library and keep abreast with developments in the field of library electronic resources and modern information services and lead a team of library professionals.
• Pay Scale 12000-375-16500 (Pre-revised) currently PB3 – Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600 (as per 6th pay commission).
 
Qualification
• The incumbent should have a Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science or Associateship in Information Science conducted by DRTC/INSDOC. Candidates with Doctoral degree in the relevant discipline will be preferred.
 
Experience
• Should be below 45 years, with at least 10 years of experience as Librarian/ Deputy Librarian in Academic or Research Institutes of Excellence (as defined by the MHRD) or National/International Library of repute.
 
 
 
3. Officer on Special Duty (01 No.)
(Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600)
 
Job Profile
• Dynamic, self-motivated professional to lead a team of Officers in the Institute and guide them in their day-to-day activities
• Coordinate the academic and administrative activities including personnel, general administration, estate management, engineering, construction, stores & purchase
• Supervise contract services and
• Help maintaining IIMI’s links with government and industries
 
Qualification
• Post-graduate degree in Science/Arts/Commerce with a degree/diploma in management OR
• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline with a degree or diploma in management from a reputed university/institute
• IT skills and potential to contribute towards institution building would be important considerations.
 
Experience
• At least 10 years in heading a department independently, preferably Personnel and General Administration, in a Government of India autonomous establishment or the public sector.
 
 
 
4. Manager (Admin) (04 Nos.)
(Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600)
 
Job Profile
• Duties shall include supervision in one or more areas of academic and administrative activities including Accounts, Estate, MaintenancePost-Graduate Programme in Management, Executive Post-Graduate Programme in Management, Management Development Programmes, Placement, Research & Publications and Fellow Programme in Management, Admissions, Students Affairs etc.
 
Qualification
• Candidates should be Post-Graduates or Graduates in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Computer Skills would be an added advantage
 
Experience
• Candidates should be Post Graduates with 05 years of experience or
• Graduate with 10 years experience
• Candidates with experience in reputed Business School/ Technical Institutes / Working in Central or State Government autonomous bodies would be preferred.
 
 
 
5. Manager (Accounts) (02 No.)
(Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600)
 
Job Profile
• Will be responsible for managing the sub-functions related to Accounts Department of the Institute and reports to the Director on day-to-day basis.
• This position demands a very high degree of competence in satisfying the needs of faculty, staff, students, members of the Finance & Personnel Committee and Board.
 
Qualification
• Candidates should be Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/ MBA (Finance) or
• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce or CA/CAS/ICWA (Inter)
 
Experience
• Candidates should be Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/ MBA (Finance) with 5 years of experience
• Graduate/Post-Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce or CA/CAS/ICWA (Inter) with 10 years of experience.
 
 
 
6. Civil Engineer (03 Nos.)
(Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200)
 
Job Profile
• Supervising, monitoring and managing construction and maintenance activities.
 
Qualification
• Degree / Diploma with specialization in Civil Engineering
 
Experience
• 2 years of experience with Degree in Civil Engineering OR
• 5 years of experience with Diploma in Civil Engineering
 
 
 
7. Executive Engineer (01 No.)
(Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600)
 
Job Profile
• Plan, monitor and maintain the estate.
• Expertise in civil engineering related renovation work and day-to-day upkeep of the campus.
 
Qualification
• B.E. / B.Tech. preferably specialization in civil engineering
 
Experience
• At least 10 years of experience and familiarity with managing and maintaining the estate, and the infrastructure
• Familiarity with the procedures and guidelines with CPWD rules and regulations would be an added advantage
• Should have held a similar position in a large educational institution.
 
 
 
8. Executive Assistant (03 Nos.)
(Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200)
 
Job Profile
• Candidates to assist/perform in one or more areas of academic and administrative activities including Personnel, Post-Graduate Programme in Management, Executive Post-Graduate Programme in Management, Management Development Programmes , Placement, Research & Publication and Fellow Programme in management, Admissions, Store & Purchase, Student Affairs etc.
 
Qualification
• Candidates should be graduate with an MBA degree.
• Proficiency in English and use of computers
 
Experience
• Candidates familiar with experience in reputed Business School/ Technical/ Institute/ Central/ State Government/Autonomous bodies would be preferred.
 
 
 
9. Manager (Career Counseling) (01 No.)
(Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200)
 
Job Profile
• Counsel and advise students on career choices, obtaining internships, campus jobs, and full-time employment.
• Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions, provide feedback on resumes, and coordinate mock interview sessions.
 
Qualification
• Post Graduate qualification in Science/Arts/Social Sciences.
• MBA from reputed management school.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
 
Experience
• Minimum of three years of professional work experience in a similar or related position are required
 
 
 
10. RTI Resource Person (01 No.)
(Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600)
 
The Institute plans to set up an activity centre which will propagate the use of Right to Information Act 2005 as a social Intervention.
Job Profile
• The person should have a demonstrated ability (in terms of articles, books and case studies) in understanding various provisions of the Right to Information Act.
 
Qualification
• Candidate should be a graduate or a post-graduate in Science/Art/Social Science and Engineering.
 
 
 
11. Security Officer (01 No.)
(Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600)
 
Job Profile
• To manage all aspects related to the security of the campus.
• The candidate will be in-charge of planning the security arrangements, monitoring and motivating the security staff.
• He will provide proper training to the security staff to meet the expectations of the Institute.
• He will devise systems and procedures by which the security of the campus can be maintained and enhanced.
 
Qualification
• A Graduate/Post-graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce and Engineering.
• Ex-army personnel and retired police personnel with a minimum rank of superintendent of police are encouraged to apply.
 
 
 
12. Public Relations Officer (01 No.)
(Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600)
 
Job Profile
• To maintain relationship with media.
• Able to prepare press releases for the various activities of the Institute.
 
Qualification
• Graduate or post-graduate in social sciences/ journalism.
 
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience

Additional Information:
• Compensation would not be a constraint for deserving candidates
• Compensation would be commensurate with relevant qualification and professional experience and is negotiable.
• The Institute will be glad to consider in engaging these positions on deputation basis.
• Personnel retired from Central or State Government autonomous bodies are encouraged to apply.
• All the above positions are on contractual basis for a fixed duration of a maximum of 5 years on a consolidated salary.
• Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not vest any right in candidates for being called for Interview. Decision of the Institute to call the candidates for selection shall be final.
• Conditions related to qualification and experience may be relaxed in the case of deserving candidates.
