1. State Bank of Indore Chair Professor in Banking and Finance
State Bank of Indore Chair Professor in Banking and Finance position is currently available at the Institute. Candidate should have a doctoral degree from a reputed university/institution with minimum of 10 years experience of which 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor/Assistant Professor and have demonstrated the highest level of academic leadership including a list of publications in leading academic journals. He should be a well recognized researcher and excellent teacher and is expected to focus and lead research in the area of Banking and Finance.
Candidate is expected to offer cross-functional electives, in addition to the core courses in the area of his specialization, in different programmes of the institute, and actively participate in research, consultancy, and institution building activities of the Institute. The candidate will be required to guide research of State Bank of Indore as and when required and to report State Bank of Indore the important global development taking place in the field of Banking & Finance and to present every year a paper on a subject in the area of Banking & Finance.
Scale of Pay : Rs.18400-500-22400.
In addition to the basic pay, incumbents is also be eligible for Dearness Pay, Dearness Allowance, CCA, Accommodation, EPF, Gratuity, LTC, reimbursement of membership fee of international professional society/ medical/ telephone expenses, contingency grant for books, stationary, local travel, etc, as per Institute's Rules. Faculty members are allowed the privilege of 52 days of consulting. The income from consulting is shared between faculty and the Institute as per the Institute's rules. The institute also provides liberal financial grants to encourage faculty to undertake research and participate in national/international seminars.
Chair Professor will also be eligible for a special research grant/support. General Conditions : All qualifications must be from UGC recognized University/ Deemed University or AICTE approved autonomous institution (wherever applicable). The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be equivalent to the relevant course approved/ recognized by Association of Indian University (AIU); Higher start in the time scale may be considered in case of exceptionally deserving candidates;?
