Emphasis is given to develop a model electronic library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The electronic library has online databases, CD-ROM databases, e-journals and e-books. It provides a single window access to all electronic resources and is accessible through the Institute's intranet. The library subscribes the following major databases:

ABI Inform
ABI/INFORM Global database covers more than 1,600 leading business and management publications, including over 350 English-language titles from outside the U.S. It provides fast and easy access to information on 60,000 companies, with coverage from 1971 forward. This database covers more than 1,100 current sources with full text articles for more than 700 of the most popular and important sources. 

ACM Digital Library
ACM Digital Library contains citations and full text from ACM journals, newsletters and conference proceedings. Full citations consist of title, author, publication data, and, when available, abstracts, citing (where other papers have referenced the paper), references (by the paper to other papers), index terms from ACM's Computing Classification System (CCS) and reviews from ACM's Computing Reviews. Access is also provided to the Online Computing Reviews Service. 

Alpha
Alpha is a database of mutual funds operation in India. Alpha provides detailed information regarding thousand mutual funds and the Asset Management Companies that run these funds, daily net asset value since inception, dividend history and financial details etc.

OCED Monthly International Trade
OECD maintains two merchandise trade databases for analytical use: 

a) Monthly data of exports and imports for all OECD countries at current prices by partner countries and main categories of commodities, and volume and average value indices for selected countries and main categories; 

(b) Detailed annual data of exports and imports by commodities and by partner countries using three classifications (SITC, HS, ISIC). An analytical database (based on the HS classification) dedicated to ICT goods (information, communications & technology) is also available. 

The analysis of trade flows and trade policy needs require internationally comparable and detailed data. Harmonised yearly trade data for OECD countries by product and partner country respond to this need. More aggregated quarterly and monthly trade data play a key role for studying and forecasting how developments in countries affect other countries (e.g. export performance indicators).

Trade flows concern and interest many public and private economic actors.

The work is co-ordinated with the Inter-agency Trade Task Force, which meets every year and maintains permanent contact. Methodological issues are discussed with OECD member countries at the annual OECD meeting on international trade (ITS) .

OECD collects and publishes two sets of merchandise trade statistics:

1. International Trade by Commodities Statistics (ITCS), containing full commodity detail by partner country for 30 OECD Member countries.

2. Monthly Statistics of International Trade (MSIT), containing aggregate trade indicators, volume and price indices trade by partner country and by SITC sections.

OECD STAN Industry analysis Database
The STAN database for industrial analysis provides analysts and researchers with a comprehensive tool for analysing industrial performance at a relatively detailed level of activity across countries. It includes annual measures of output, labour input, investment and international trade which allow users to construct a wide range of indicators to focus on areas such as productivity growth, competitiveness and general structural change.Through the use of a standard industry list, comparisons can be made across countries. The industry list provides sufficient detail to enable users to highlight high-technology sectors and is compatible with those used in related OECD databases.

STAN is primarily based on Member countries' annual national accounts by activity tables and uses data from other sources, such as national industrial surveys/censuses, to estimate any missing detail. Since many of the data points in STAN are estimated, they do not represent official Member country submissions.
The current version of STAN is based on the International Standard Industrial Classification of all economic activities, Revision 3 (ISIC Rev. 3) and covers all activities (including services). Earlier versions of STAN (pre-2000) were based on ISIC Rev.2 and covered the manufacturing sector only.
To optimize timeliness, STAN is updated on a "rolling basis"- new tables are made available as soon as they are ready on OECD data dissemination service OECD.STAT together with related industrial data sets such as Business Expenditure on R&D ANBERD, STAN Bilateral Trade Database BTD and STAN Indicators.
