Emphasis is given to develop a model electronic library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The electronic library has online databases, CD-ROM databases, e-journals and e-books. It provides a single window access to all electronic resources and is accessible through the Institute's intranet. The library subscribes the following major databases.
ABI Inform ABI/INFORM Global database covers more than 1,600 leading business and management publications, including over 350 English-language titles from outside the U.S. It provides fast and easy access to information on 60,000 companies, with coverage from 1971 forward. This database covers more than 1,100 current sources with full text articles for more than 700 of the most popular and important sources.
ACM Digital Library ACM Digital Library contains citations and full text from ACM journals, newsletters and conference proceedings. Full citations consist of title, author, publication data, and, when available, abstracts, citings (where other papers have referenced the paper), references (by the paper to other papers), index terms from ACM's Computing Classification System (CCS) and reviews from ACM's Computing Reviews. Access is also provided to the Online Computing Reviews Service.
Alpha Alpha is a database of mutual funds operation in India. Alpha provides detailed information regarding thousand mutual funds and the Asset Management Companies that run these funds, daily net asset value since inception, dividend history and financial details etc.
