Chandrashekhar is currently a faculty in the Strategic Management area. His research interests include understanding growth and evolution of firms and business groups from their inception. His other research interests include internationalization of firms and non-organic evolution of firms and business groups.

His research has been accepted for publication in journals anchored in UK and USA. His research papers have also been accepted at leading international conferences such as AGSE � BABSON conference, and Academy of International Business (AIB) annual conference.

He had worked for little more than a decade in industry prior to joining the doctoral program. His experiences largely span stints in consulting and business development in India, Middle East, Europe and USA. He has held leadership positions in India and the UK.
