Participants
are generally to be sponsored by organizations. However, application by
individuals may also be accepted. A formal communication regarding the
acceptance of nomination/ application will be sent to nominees prior to
commencement of the programme. |

|
The fee can
be paid by Demand Draft or cheque payable at par. The Demand Draft or

Discount |
|
An
organization sponsoring five or more participants to an MDP will be
entitled to a group discount of 10% on the total fee payable provided
that at least five participants actually attend the programme. If the
actual participation is less than 5, refund may be made after deducting
the full fee of actual number of participants who attend the training
programme. The group discount would be applicable only to short duration
programmes of up to 20 days. |

Refund |
|
In case of withdrawal of nominations by
the organization programme fee will be refunded or adjusted in any other
programmes during the same financial year. |
|
If the Institute cancels the programme,
fee will be refunded within one week after the programme dates. |
|
Substitution of participant(s) is
permissible if a request to substitute a nominee is received in writing
prior to commencement of the programmes. |
|

Income Tax
Exemption |
|
On perusal of
section 10(23C)(iiiab), Income Tax Department in their order No. F.No.
CCIT/IND/TECH/10(23C)-92/09-10 Dtd. 31.12.2009 stated that being an
educational institution existing solely for educational purposes and not
for purposes of profit and is owned and controlled by Government of
India, IIM Indore is falling under section 10(23C)(iiiab) and therefore,
its income is exempt accordingly. Therefore TDS from the MDP fees is
not to be deducted. |

Certification |
|
The
participants attending the programme will be awarded Certificate of
Participation. |
|
|
|
Alumni
Association |
|
Participants
are eligible to join the IIMI Alumni Association on completion of the
programme. The alumni enjoy certain benefits with regard to the
Institute's publications, facilities, and activities. Please send the
application form along with demand draft / pay order of Rs.1,000 (Rupees
One Thousand Only) towards one-time registration charges in favour of
Indian Institute of Management Indore, payable at Indore. |
