Indian Institute of Management Indore,
pleased to announce a two-day conference on “Excellence in School
Education (ESE)”. This conference is scheduled on 24th and 25th
July on our Campus.
The purpose of the conference is to
understand the challenges in managing the secondary school education
in India and prepare a response to resolving them. We plan to use
the deliberations of the conference to design eventually a custom
made training program for the Top Management of the school including
Principals of the school, Senior Teachers and the management. For
increasing the effectiveness, we would request you to nominate upto
3 teachers of your school for this working conference.
This
conference would focus on themes related to:

building of students including leadership qualities

Enhancing
innovation, creativity and curiosity

Curriculum and administrative reforms in schools

Capacity
building of teachers

Balanced
education and mechanism to accomplish this

redesign (admission, time tabling, examination etc.)

Use ICT
in imparting quality education
There is
a participation fee of Rs. 5,000/- per school. However, Government
funded schools would be exempted from this fee.
This
Conference will have a sequence of invited speakers and well focused
panel discussions.
