Admissions Process for PGPMX – UAE |
|
Due to large number of requests for
applying to the PGPMX – UAE batch of 2011, we are going through a
special admission process for this inaugural batch alone.
Candidates are invited to submit their completed applications to either
GEM – RAK or IIM Indore directly.
Interview for admissions to the program would be held on the 11th and
12th of Nov at GEM RAK.
All candidates who are applying for the program are requested to make
note of the interview date and location and be prepared to register for
the program and pay the commitment fee on the day of the interview.

About the Program |
The IIM Indore two-year, alternate weekend Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives (PGPMX), offered in Ras Al Khaimah ( UAE ), is uniquely designed for working executives and entrepreneurs in the Emirates, who would like to take the opportunity to become transformational leaders and innovative solution creators in their respective organizations, but find it difficult to pursue a full-time programme in management. PGPMX is designed to provide flexibility to working executives to be engaged in their respective professions and at the same time to upgrade their knowledge base simultaneously. |

The PGPMX comprises of a rigorous curriculum, exposes participants to experiential learning, and provides avenues for creative collaborations with their peers, faculty, and their organizations. The PGPMX is equivalent in content and rigour to our regular Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the classes are facilitated and taught by the same faculty. The objective of the programme is to provide our participants with a platform to enhance their knowledge base, and hone their skills and competencies to grow higher in their career and to be a leader in their organizations. |

Eligibility |
The Candidate must have |
1. | Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks |
2. | Minimum 3 years of supervisory/managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation. |

Selection Process |
Interview: |
Interview of short listed candidates will be conducted at RAK. |
A Common Admissions Test (CAT) or a GMAT score will be an added advantage. |

Pedagogy |
The pedagogy will be a judicious mix of lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, role-play, seminar presentations, assignments, management games, and simulations. |

Curriculum |
The programme is divided into 6 terms during the course of two years consisting of 52 weekend sessions. During five of the six terms participants attend classes on alternate weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) with each term consisting of approximately 10-11 weekends. One term will consist of a week of 8-10 continuous days for IIM Indore Campus Immersion. Participants would also need to spend approximately 15-25 hours outside of their class time between each alternate week on their study material and assignments. |

The curriculum consists of compulsory core and advanced courses. These courses are from the core business areas of finance, marketing, human resource management, organizational behaviour, operations management, strategy, accounting, economics, quantitative techniques, etc. The emphasis in the class will be to integrate cross-functional and cross-disciplinary learning |

The programme fee is 20700 US dollar if paid in full at the time of registration. |
