"Prizes maketh the institute" - the whole of IIM Indore community believes in this old adage.
Over the years, the sincere efforts put in by the PGP participants of IIM Indore have borne rich fruits - they have proved their mettle in a variety of international and national level competitions winning a host of prizes. They have made the institute proud by participating with distinction and winning in a number of events organized by the various management and corporate organizations. The annual management festivals organized by the top business schools of the country have always brought out the best in our students. They have made a mark by winning consistently and underlined the fact IIM Indore can benchmark itself with the best in the world. Typically, the events in these competitions span over all functional areas of management, ranging from paper presentations to leadership games and IIM Indore students have been able to showcase their talent and sharp business acumen in all disciplines. IRIS, our own management festival, also saw IIM Indore teams emerging triumphant over teams from other premier business schools of the country - highlighting that the students of IIM Indore can simultaneously play the role of good hosts (as all our visiting friends have pointed out) and excellent performers.
IIM Indore students have come out with flying colours even in international forum. Over the last two years, the participants of IIM Indore have made regular contributions to the ISC-Symposium, held annually at the University of St. Gallen Switzerland, which provides a neutral platform to promote discussion between students, corporate, bureaucrats and political leaders across the national and cultural boundaries. Judged by an eminent panel of judges, the symposium invites 250 best contributors out of more than 1,000 entries from over 70 countries. Over the last two years, IIM Indore students have been among the select few chosen from India to attend the symposium. Earlier, Atul Chabbra (2001-03 batch) was invited to speak in the Antibody Production Congress in Copenhagen on his article about the increasing significance of China on the global marketplace and the comparative scenario on the Indian front. Apart from that, the students of IIM Indore have won a number of awards in Confluence (management festival of IIM Ahmedabad), which involves a number of foreign schools including teams from Wharton, London Business School, Richard Ivey, Stern, National University of Singapore
Not only from the point of monetary value, these victories have vastly enhanced the prestige of the institute and immensely increased its brand equity among the global management community. IIM Indore has a rich tradition of bringing out top quality Placement Brochures - for the last two years, the Placement Brochures of the institute have been ranked one of the best brochures of the country.
The list of honour is ever growing and we sincerely believe that the performance of the seniors will motivate the future and present batches to perform even better and surpass them and bring greater glory to the institute.
