Equit-I is the interest club for Finance and Investment formed by the PGP participants of IIM, Indore. The club actively follows the industry and its related financial associations and also tries to interface with both financial and banking companies as well as governing bodies such as SEBI for live projects.If a participant wants to update himself with the latest industry news or wants to increase his awareness levels in the financial and investment sector, it’s to Equit-I that he turns to.

Events such as the simulation game The Next Buffet (stock market trading), Mantrana (debate competition), finance quizzes and games are organized to test the knowledge of participants on financial fundamentals and current affairs.

Blitzkrieg, the Portfolio management game is the latest addition to the calendar where teams are given a 'fund' of 1 Million and they have to invest this in 10 different assets based on a given set of news for the day, using futures and options while taking positions. Set over a period of time, the event allows the asset prices to move as a relation to this news, on account of which teams would make a profit or loss.

Apart from these, regular guest lectures and panel discussions which give students an opportunity to understand contemporary issues and explore career avenues in finance, budget analysis sessions and live projects from the industry are what are on offer.
