IRIS- the 8-year-old Annual Management Festival of IIM Indore has been popular name in the Indian B-School circuit, having garnered respect for constant innovation and hospitality. Its prominent events like, Ashwamedha, Kalpavriksha and Klueless are brands in their own right and witness enthusiastic and ever-expanding participation every year. The year 2009 is historic for IRIS, now rechristened Ahvan, as it marks a complete rebranding of this popular fest in vision, structures and scale. Restricted till date to the top 30 B-Schools in the country, Ahvan will now open up to even wider participants, across geographies.

UtsAha!

Utsaha, the brainchild of Mercur-I, the IIM Indore marketing club strives to apply classroom learning on the field. A uniquely positioned fest with focus on Consumer Research, Utsaha provides first hand access to consumer insights from authentic rural markets for partners and participants alike Utsaha involves execution of a wide-range of projects comprised of study, experimentation and implementation of specific methodologies to track rural consumer behavior and preferences. The other activities during Utsaha include mentoring and workshops by experts in the field of rural marketing.

Indore Marathon

In line with IIM Indore’s focus on creating a positive impact on the social an cultural environment in which it functions, Indore Marathon made a successful debut in 2008 with more than 5000 citizens running for peas on the 2nd of October i.e. Gandhi Jayanti. The Indore Marathon is the true test of Endurance and character and sends out a statement of unity and support for a cause. With its theme of “Green” this year, the Marathon will respond and rise up to the global need for environmental consciousness.

National Youth Conference

The National Youth Conference is a humble effort by IIM Indore to awaken Indian youth and make them more sensitive towards issues if national concerns. Structured as a series of panes discussion, guest talks, seminars and other events, the conference acts as a platform for young minds across India to come together.
