Bigger, Brighter, Better -that is what Indore Marathon v 4.0 promises to be. Every year, forthe last three versions the people of Indore have shown their support for causes like Peace, Greenery and Education, the previous themes of the Indore Marathon. Carrying forward the success story of the last three seasons, Indore Marathon ’11 in its latest avatar aims for greater participation from all over Indore this year and generate awareness on this year’s theme -“Run for a Healthy India”. This year too, we want the people of Indore to join hands with IIM Indore, one of India’s most premier and respected institutes for management education, in its bid to contribute towards a Healthy India in a much bigger way.

As the Mahatma himself has said-“It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.” What better way to honour the great soul on his 142nd Birth anniversary than by actually participating in the Indore Marathon and putting his words into practice. This year’s Indore marathon attempts to sensitize people on the importance of a Healthy India and for this, strives to bring together people from all walks of life who are the stakeholders in this great country’s future. We invite all of you to be a part of this mega event on 2nd October, 2011. Let us all run for a Healthy India – and do our bit to fulfil our country’s destiny to be a Superpower.
