It was the Mridang that filled the cosmos with its reverberations of the divine rhythm of LordShiva’s TandavaNritya. And it will be Mridang, yet again, that the entire country will reverberate with; when IIM Indore’s annual cultural festival sets out to recreate that kind of an impact. Conducted in the month of January, Mridang is a manifestation of what India stands for – a confluence of the poise of our culture as well as heritage and the exuberance of modernity.

Events like Cult Icon ( Search for the ultimate entertainer ), Abhinayam ( Dance ), Lavanya ( Fashion ), Distortion ( Battle of the Bands ), Lasya ( Choreography ), Pratidhwani ( Theatre ) , Akriti ( Arts ) , Vocals, Quizzes and Literary events provide participants a great platform to showcase their multiple talents. Mridang is an amalgamation of events – it has something for everyone. There is Kaayamanan(TreasureHunt), Hurdang(On-the-Spot events), star performances, workshops and lots more to keep participants and onlookers on their toes.
