The E-cell of Indian Institute of Management Indore is a student-run club which takes care of all the entrepreneurship related events on campus. Besides conducting events, it also organizes workshops and competitions in collaboration with VCs, partner Institutions and other pioneers in the industry. The objective of E-cell is to provide exposure to the students of IIM Indore who consider entrepreneurship as a career choice. This also serves as a platform to develop leadership trails, wealth for a wider and broader spectrum of stakeholders.
In a growth savvy industry, the activities planned would gravitate towards unique ideas and specific ventures and shall feature many young industrialists to stay contemporary even as the USP of traditional wisdom has ultimate primacy. The event calendar comprises of competitions geared to test the innovation and rigor of the participant’s thought process, as they enter the campus. We are also coordinating with concerned organizations to set up our own incubation center. In a true blue e-cell member we look for (and one would find) the zeal to stay abreast of all that transpires in the industry and the ability to think through strategies on an on-going basis. If you are the kind that won’t get sleep over a pending financing decision or a supplier meeting due the day next, if you must do it on your own, then E-cell at IIM Indore welcomes you.
The club has had the legacy of executing to do attitude and with the successful efforts of our seniors who set up JAM (Juices and More)- a food joint on the campus to serve the student community, we have recently revamped our existing infrastructure thereby introducing it as JAM 2.0.
Our E-Cell has collaborated with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) to conduct competitions and workshops to inculcate leadership. We are working with ENACTUS India on social entrepreneurship projects.
