The Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Finance (PGCPF) provides customize, comprehensive & rigorous programme to prepare future banking and finance professionals. This programme not only provides participants with the knowledge of operational aspects of banking & finance but also helps in building managerial and technical skills.
The programme offers a unique blend of Global Prospective in Banking & Finance with hands-on experience in practical aspects of the financial markets. Besides that, the Programme supplements with the background of the Indian economic environment and offers exposure to other functional areas of management.
This Programme is a judicious mix of quantitative techniques and qualitative perspectives of financial management. It is designed to benefit executives who have recently taken on or are being groomed to take on, significant managerial responsibilities in future. Duration: 12 Months
Total Number of Sessions (75 Minutes each): 135
On-campus module of 5 days duration: around 25 sessions
One or two sessions from some of the courses will become part of the on-campus orientation module. In case the on-campus module is not conducted due to Covid situation, the same will be included in the total number of sessions.
Online: 110 sessions
Number of Hours: Approx. 169
The pedagogy will be a judicious mix of lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, and assignments etc.
Performance of participants will be monitored on a continuous evaluation basis through quizzes, assignments, tests and examinations. The participant is required to score minimum marks/grades as decided by the Institute from time to time to complete the course.
Successful Completion Certificate by IIM Indore in a valedictory ceremony to be held on the campus.
- Diploma (10+2+3) or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (10+2+3) or 10+2+4) or 2 years Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognised university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks of all the years
- Minimum 2 years of work experience is required post completion of qualifying education
How the Courses will be Delivered:
Courses will be delivered through direct to device (D2D) mode using an appropriate technology platform. Lectures will be delivered through broadband based technology involving two-way audio and video communication. Sessions will be held once in a week, generally on weekends. Participants can attend sessions from any location having good internet connectivity of at least 2 mbps or higher. Participants will be provided reading materials as and when required. They may also interact with the concerned faculty through e-mails/ chat mode.
The academic sessions will start from Feb 2022. Sessions will be held on every Sunday.
The normal timing of the sessions will be as follows:
Sunday, First session : 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm
Sunday, Second session : 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm
Sunday, Third session : 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
The time gap between two consecutive sessions is to give the participants a break. On some days, the classes may extend beyond the mentioned time. In addition to attending interactive sessions, participants have to undertake online quizzes, assignments and examinations.
