The new batch for Certificate Programme in Digital Marketing & Strategy commenced at IIM Indore on June 19, 2021. The inauguration took place in the presence of Prof. Sushanta Kumar Mishra, Dean-Programmes, IIM Indore; Prof. Subin Sudhir and Prof. Sudipta Mandal, Programme Coordinators & faculty, IIM Indore and all the registered 112 participants for the programme.
Prof. Sudhir welcomed the new batch and noted that IIM Indore is the second IIM in the nation to receive a Triple Crown with three prestigious accreditations. He gave insights about the programme and noted that this programme has been designed in a way that it will help the participants enhance their digital marketing skills, especially during the pandemic era.
Prof. Mandal noted that the programme focuses on not only the strategic skills and decision making, but also provides deep information about the art of engaging the consumers, marketing specifically for the consumers; and also will provide a platform to the participants to interact with each other and learn from their extensive work experiences.
Prof. Mishra congratulated the new batch for enrolling in the programme. Speaking about the importance of online communication amid COVID, he said, ‘Amidst the new normal, we now need to combine our offline competencies with the digital skills we have developed in the last one year amid the pandemic. This combination will help us excel in the future, in the post-covid era’, he said.
