The first batch of the Executive Programme in Advanced Marketing Management (EPAMM) began at IIM Indore on May 01, 2021. Being conducted in association with Times Professional Learning TSW, the programme aims to equip the participants with advanced thinking, analysis and marketing management skills. The virtual inauguration took place in the presence of Professor Sanjeev Tripathi & Professor Aditya Billore (Programme Coordinators & Faculty, IIM Indore); Professor Dipayan D. Chaudhuri, Dean (Planning and Development), IIM Indore; Professor Subin Sudhir, Chairperson, Executive Education, IIM Indore; and all the 71 participants registered for the programme.
Professor Tripathi welcomed the participants and provided a brief overview of the programme. ‘This batch has participants from various backgrounds and industry experience; and this would help in meaningful interactions which would provide insights about advanced marketing’, he said. Professor Billore encouraged the participants to have interactive discussions. ‘EPAMM will help in understanding and revising the basics, while providing insights to the advance level of marketing. It’s time to learn, unlearn and reflect’, he said.
Professor Chaudhuri gave a brief description about IIM Indore, its various programmes and initiatives. Sharing his views on EPAMM, he said that the programme is designed in a way that it is the ideal next step for marketing professionals, who want to uncover deeper marketing insights and understand the fast-evolving marketing environment. Professor Subin Sudhir also welcomed the new batch and said that the entire course has been envisioned in a way that it is going to be very beneficial and will help participants. ‘This course creates the next generation of marketing leaders, and will help participants to take tangible marketing initiatives and lead those initiatives successfully’, he said.
The participants registered for the programme are from Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and West Bengal states and belong to various industries including media, IT, consumer goods, manufacturing, automotive, healthcare and pharma, e-commerce, education, etc. The programme will help the participants in taking tangible marketing initiatives and lead the initiatives successfully.
