The valedictory function of the General Management Programme for Executives (GMPE-Batch 2) took place on April 24, 2018 at IIM Indore. Total 38 participants received the certificates by the Chief Guest Anantharaman A.V., Chief Human Resources and Compliance Officer, Unichem Laboratories.
The event commenced with an address by Professor Keyur Thaker, who congratulated the participants for this achievement. This was followed by the address by Mr. Anantharaman A.V. Congratulating the participants for investing their weekends in GMPE, he noted that this programme will help them look business in an even efficient manner. He advised the participants to utilize this knowledge at workplace and spread the learnings so as to keep the colleagues updated as well. He also shared his experience from his work-life.
Professor Rishikesha T. Krishnan, Director, IIM Indore also congratulated the participants and encouraged them to remain consistent with their goals. He noted that one should keep updating their skills and knowledge as the industry keeps changing with time.
Professor Jayasimha K.R., Chair, MDP and Professor Saripalli Bhavani Shankar and Professor Aekta Aggarwal, Programme Coordinators of GMPE Batch 2 also addressed the participants. They appreciated the participants for their performance during the course and wished them a good luck for future endeavors.
This was followed by the certificate distribution to all the participants. The event concluded with various participants sharing their experiences while studying at IIM Indore. They said that enrolling in GMPE not only helped them update their skills, but also made them relive their own college days.
