IIM Indore’s student team comprising of Soumya Loomba, Ankita Jena and Zeba Kamal bagged the 2nd Runner-up position in the Hindustan Unilever Limited Lessons in Marketing Excellence (HUL LIME) Season 8. The competition was held on January 13, 2017. IIM Indore’s team received a cash prize of Rs. 1Lakh for their achievement.
HUL Lime Season 8 invited participation from India’s premium B-schools wherein the participants had to submit an idea about designing the marketing strategy of an impact sourcing BPO called Desicrew. IIM Indore’s team reached the semi-final round where they were given a case to develop a brand purpose for Vim.
The National Round was held in Delhi, between three teams being judged by Mr. Piyush Pandey, Ms. Shireen Bhan and India’s Chief economic Advisor—Mr. Arvind Subramanium as the Chief Guest. The final round dealt with providing a marketing solution for increasing the Tax Compliance in India. IIM Indore’s team came up with an extraordinary plan and was appreciated by the jury.
