A National Marketing Conference on Major Paradigm Shift in Marketing was conducted by Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow on February 3-4, 2017. Professor Rajendra Nargundkar, Faculty, IIM Indore was invited to deliver the Keynote Address in the Conference. The objective of the two day conference was to bring together corporates and academicians from across the nation to share their views on the challenges being posed by changing marketing environment.
Professor Nargundkar spoke on the topic –‘My thoughts on advancing theory and practice in marketing.’ He noted that to advance theories of marketing, the basis is networking- between the lecturers and the students. He also discussed about the importance of publishing and thought leadership. He also shared with the audience some of the topics on which researches can be carried out.
Professor Nargundkar’s speech was very well received by the audience. The other dignitaries on the dais included Mr. A. K. Mathur, Vice President & Executive Director, LMA; Ms. Rama Bijapurkar, Consultant- Marketing Strategy, Professor Kavita Pathak, Officiating Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow; Professor V.V.
