The Valedictory Function of Sixteenth Batch of Certificate Course in Business Management for Defence Officers (CCBMDO) at IIM Indore took place on February 20, 2020. The batch consisting of fifty-six participants received certificates on this occasion. Prof. Dipayan Datta Chaudhuri, Dean (Faculty) and Prof. Sanjay Choudhari, Coordinator, CCBMDO Programme; along with Col. Gururaj Pamidi (Retd.), CAO, IIM Indore were present during the function. The following participants received the merit certificate based on their scholastic performance in the course:

As per Col. Prasad Mahajan, Placement Secretary of the Batch, this year they witnessed welcoming response from the corporates. The average CTC obtained by the officers with 10 to15 year bracket of experience was Rs. 25 lakh p.a. while officers with more than 20 years of experience bracket received CTC of Rs. 35 lakh p.a.
IIM Indore has already completed sixteen batches of CCBMDO course and successfully trained about 715 Defence Officers. The aim of this 24-week course is to provide training of functional areas of management to these retiring/retired/released defence officers. This will help them resettle in their second career in civil life. This course is one of the initiatives taken by IIM Indore by holding its commitment in providing meaningful training to retiring and retired defence service officers, to enable them in finding suitable employment. The valedictory ceremony concluded with vote of thanks by Col. Navin Sharma, Representative of the batch.
