As a part of government school students’ visit to the Institute of National Importance as approved by the Madhya Pradesh State Government, around 250 students and 12 teachers from Maharani Radhabai Girls H.S. School, Dewas visited IIM Indore on January 02, 2020. The visit started with the welcome by the Institute Administrative Staff Members, followed by visit to the Library, Classrooms, Gymnasium, Sports Complex, Auditoriums, etc.
The students then learnt a lot about the Institute and the alumni, from the movie screened in the New Auditorium. They were happy to know about the various programmes offered, the facilities provided by the Institute and also the multiple initiatives of the Institute.
The students then interacted with Col. Gururaj Gopinath Pamidi (Retd.), CAO, IIM Indore. Col. Pamidi encouraged the students to work hard and remain focused on their goals. Citing examples of many renowned personalities from Bollywood, Sports, etc. Col. Pamidi advised the participants that one can only achieve success if he or she keeps working hard without feeling low about the failures. He insisted that the students should rather keep learning from failures and stay motivated to achieve their goals.
The students then left on a happy note, enjoying their visit to IIM Indore. The visit was coordinated by Mr. Manas Parihar, Ms. Tulika Singh, Mr. Samarth Shulka and Mr. Pankaj Goswami.
