The event was held at Delhi on August 30, 2019.
The event challenged the participants to operate a conscious business in contrast to the traditional profit-maximizing business paradigm. The teams had to consider all of the firm’s stakeholders, including customers, stockholders, employees, suppliers, and the community. The teams were judged using both hard and soft metrics. Hard metrics included balanced score card model that measures profitability, customer satisfaction, market share in the targeted market segments, human resource management, asset management, preparedness for the future and wealth. Soft metrics included conscious actions indicating whether all stakeholders have been valued.
Competing with over 32 teams from the esteem colleges across India and clearing the two rounds—regional and final, IIM Indore team won the competition and received a prize money of Rs. 50,000/-.
IIM Indore congratulates the team for their achievement.
