Manish Popli is an Associate Professor in the area of Strategy and International Business. Manish is currently the vice-chair of ‘Academy of international Business’ (AIB) South Asia Chapter. Manish serves on the editorial board of ‘Journal of World Business’, ‘Journal of International Management’ and ‘Management and Organization review’ (from 2022). At IIM Indore, Manish was awarded the title of Young Research Chair of IIM Indore for a three year period of 2018-2020. Before his academic journey, Manish has worked with various multinational organizations such as ST Microelectronics, Hughes, and Intel. His current research areas include internationalization of emerging markets firm, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and business groups primarily using the theoretical lens of behavioral theory and institutional theory.
