IIM Indore hosted its 10-year Alumni Reunion from February 28-March 01, 2020. The event welcomed alumni from the batch of 2008-10 who’ve been working in diverse industries in various high-impact roles.
The current participants presented an adaptation of the popular play, ‘Merchant of Venice’ by William Shakespeare directed by Professor Shweta Kushal, on the evening of the February 28. This was followed by an informal ‘Open Mic and Karaoke’ event, during which the alumni got a chance to unwind on campus while catching up with their old peers.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the alumni along with Professor Keyur Thaker, Chair, Alumni Relations. He briefed on the significant strides made by IIM Indore in furthering alumni relations in the last few years. This was followed by a networking session during which the current students interacted with the alumni and learnt more about the experiences of the alumni after college, while working in the industry.
The last day of the reunion was marked by a cake cutting ceremony and a delicious Faculty-Alumni brunch. Nostalgia filled the air as conversations hit off with everyone sharing stories close to their hearts. The 3-day event was deemed to be a huge success in terms of boosting engagement with the institute’s vast alumni-network.
