Under the IPM Induction Programme for the Batch 2018-23, two day session on Experiential Learning and Outbound Activities is being held on August 03-04, 2018. The session aims to encourage the new batch and enhance their soft skills with various interesting activities—both indoors and outdoors.
The facilitators for the sessions are senior consultants and specialists from Organizations and Alternatives Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore (OAC India) namely, Ms.Chitra Sharma and Ms. Gayatri Sriram. They took the participants through a high energy outbound activity programme geared towards getting to know themselves and their fellow participants deeply and more meaningfully. The morning started out on the cricket stadium of the campus with some fun interaction where the students got to know each other. Post that was a challenge where around 60 people had to find their way across a giant puzzle. This was followed by a whirlwind medley round where the students had to rely on each others’ ingenuity and skills to score high.
Both the facilitators created a safe space for the students to share their experiences and help them work though a better understanding of their own and their teammates’ strengths. The participants were left with a fresh outlook about themselves and now look forward to five more years of shared learning at IIM Indore.
