The valedictory programme of the Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Management – PGCPM, Batch 06 took place on December 09, 2021, at IIM Indore. The was held in the presence of Prof. Debasish Maitra, VLPE Coordinator; Prof. Saumya Ranjan Dash, Dean-Programmes; Prof. Subin Sudhir, Chair-Executive Education and Mr. Darayas Mehta, Founder Director, VCNow. A total of 22 participants received the certificate of completion on this occasion.
Prof. Debasish Maitra welcomed the participants to the valedictory ceremony and congratulated the batch for completing the programme. He also applauded the family members of the participants, who offered their constant support to the participants during the programme. Prof. Saumya Ranjan Dash stated the significance of learning and re-learning. He noted that learning and success come gradually, and one needs to make certain not to give up. ‘You learn, execute what you have learnt, relearn and stay focused. That’s how you accomplish your goals, he said.
Prof. Subin Sudhir persuaded the participants to follow the four P’s in life: Purpose, Passion, Perseverance and Pride. He noted that one needs to find the purpose of his or her existence and be passionate about working on the goal. ‘You may fail at times, but you need to be perseverant and make sure to keep trying again till you succeed’, he said. He advised the participants to feel proud of themselves for all that they have achieved in life.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
