Around 79 students from class 6 of Shishukunj School, Indore visited IIM Indore on November 27, 2019. The purpose of their visit was to encourage the little minds to start focusing on their career as well as learn from participating in extra-curricular activities.
The students got a chance to interact with two IPM students Deksha & Kunal, who took admission in the programme right after their class 12th. Deksha spoke to the kids about the importance of being inquisitive and learning different co-curricular activities rather than just focusing on studies. She explained to them how taking interest in everything a student does makes even studies enjoyable. ‘We need to learn how to make ourselves deserving for our dreams rather than just chasing them’, she said.
Professor Siddhartha Rastogi and Professor Amitabh Deo Kodwani, Faculty, IIM Indore also then interacted with the students. Professor Rastogi gave details about the Institute and IPM Programme; while Professor Kodwani engaged the little ones in a game and taught how management is important via fun activities.
The group then visited the campus Learning Centre, Sports Stadium, Classroom, Gymnasium and Swimming Pool. They then left the campus with happy memories and thanked the Institute administration for their guidance during the visit.
