IIM Indore’s Faculty, Professor Kamal K. Jain conducted a workshop on negotiation for VF Brands India Pvt. Ltd at Bangalore. The workshop was held at Hotel Hilton, Bangalore on December 4-5, 2015. Participants in the program were middle level and senior level executives from various functional areas like sourcing, HR, sales and marketing, supply chain etc.
Professor Jain discussed about building negotiation capabilities both from commercial point of view and relational point of view. The participants in the workshop were given inputs on fundamental rules of negotiation, handling powerful and difficult negotiators, creating value in negotiation by converting distributive negotiation into integrative negotiation, managing multiparty negotiation, and the role of framing and biases in the negotiation.
